Who knows… with a win or an outside shot at an at-large bid for the tourney, Broome may hit a spotlight a la Ja Morant. If any team has a chance to overtake Belmont as the OVC Tournament champions it is Morehead State. He was named OVC Freshman of the week nine times and was awarded OVC Freshman of the Year honors. He leads his team in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots. Johni Broome, Morehead State: One of two players on the list for OVC regular-season runner-up Morehead State, Broome helped lead his Morehead State team to one of its best seasons ever. Look for Muszynski to try and lead Belmont to a regular season and tournament championship. A quick fact to watch for in his game… he ranks first in double-doubles. ![]() Taylor is ranked sixth in the nation in scoring with 21.7 points per game average and also ranks ninth taking in rebounds off the glass. With the OVC Tournament beginning tonight in Evansville, Indians, here are some faces you might be hearing about during the madness of March. If the Ohio Valley Conference has shown us anything in last years, it is that the players in this conference are not to be overlooked… especially come time for the Big Dance (Ja’ Morant of Murray State or the run of the Tennessee Tech Eagles for example).
